Thomas Lee "Tom" Fink was born June 6, 1968 at the Redfield Hospital in Redfield, SD to CJ "Corny" and Ella Mae (Nichols) Fink. He joined three brothers and a sister in their family north of Zell, SD. Tom attended Redfield Public Schools and graduated from Redfield High School.
He worked numerous jobs in his career from building concrete grain elevators, recycling tires and constructing water pipelines. His latest job was a forklift operator at Agropur in Lake Nordon. Of all his jobs, he probably enjoyed his time working with Bruce Bebo the best.
Some of Tom’s greatest enjoyment came from helping others like Mrs. Chase’s 2nd grade class; Knights of Columbus events; assisting with the wrestling teams; helping with benefits, raffles and the food bank by purchasing Terry Redlin art to be auctioned or raffled off; and helping area farmers or ranchers work cattle or horses just to help. He especially enjoyed helping as host at graduation parties, wedding receptions and birthday parties for family and friends.
Tom was a real people person and loved it best surrounded by friends and family. His hobbies included watching sports, from college and professional games on TV, to high school games in person. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan from the age of 8.
Tom is survived by his mother Ella Mae Fink of Zell; siblings: Jim (Mary) Fink of Fairview, MT and their boys Mike, Joe and Mark; Andy (Tammy) Fink of Redfield and his girls Ashley, Christina and Victoria; Janice (Doug) Kenzy of Riverside, CA and their children Katelyn and Kyle; and Jon Fink of Corona, CA and his children Jayda and Jayden. He is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father CJ Fink; grandparents: Edward and Genevieve Fink and John and Edith Nichols; cousin Domonic Fink and many aunts and uncles.
