Alberta Moeller, 86, of Redfield, SD, died Monday, February 04, 2013 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Redfield. Father Christopher Hughes will celebrate the mass. Alberta was born December 19, 1926 in Anselmo, NE to Kenneth and Esther (Condron) Einspahr. She grew up and graduated from high school in Anselmo. After her graduation she moved, with her family, to Redfield. Alberta married Laurens Moeller on May 3, 1946 in Ellendale, ND. They farmed in the Zell, Athol and Redfield area until 1980. After they moved to Redfield, Alberta worked at Red Owl and did some babysitting.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, search-a-word and crocheting. She was an avid Minnesota Twins fan and as a young lady pitched on a boy's baseball team.

Alberta is survived by her children: Mike (Isobel) Moeller of Clark, SD; Linda (Gene) Dickson of Pierre, SD; Ronald (Irene) Moeller of Lompoc, CA; Barb Ryman of Rapid City, SD; Beverly (Donald) Kalahar of Woodlawn, IL; Dave (Marion) Moeller of Redfield and Bill Moeller of Redfield. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and her four sisters: Leona Mason of Minneapolis, MN; Della Fertig of Scottsbluff, NE; Connie (Larry) Frost of Aberdeen, SD and Joanne (Harold) Booze of Redfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Laurens in 2005 and one great grandson Justin Sayler.
