Anna Marie J. Stuchl, 92, of Redfield, SD died Saturday, February 07, 2015 at the Eastern Star Home in Redfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Redfield. Father Christopher Hughes will celebrate the mass. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Anna Marie was born February 15, 1922 in David City, NE to Joseph and Cecelia (Reeder) Theewen. She grew up and attended school in David City. Anna Marie married Jerry Stuchl August 1, 1939. They lived in Nebraska, Sioux Falls, Pipestone, MN before moving to Redfield. They raised their five children in Redfield and Anna Marie worked various jobs besides raising her family. She ran the concession stand at the baseball field and Pavilion Dance Hall, did laundry for other families and cleaned the offices at North Western Public Service.

She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, sewing, embroidering, fishing and hunting. She loved family gatherings and especially the babies and little children. She never forgot to send a greeting card to many on their special occasions.

Anna Marie is survived by her children: Dolly (Roger) Michels of Chamberlain, SD; Jack (Janet) Stuchl of Aberdeen, SD; Patty (Willie) Gruenwald of Clark, SD; and Barb Cleberg of Beresford, SD. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry in 1997, her daughter Sandy in 2001, two sisters: Frances and Helen, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her son-in-law Patrick Cleberg.
