AnnaBelle Rose Vogel, 81, of Sioux Falls, SD and formerly of Turton, SD died Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Turton. Father Joe Vogel will celebrate the mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 1-5:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home and at St. Joseph's Church starting at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. www.thelenfuneralhome.com

AnnaBelle was born August 26, 1926 in Hinkley, MN to Frank and Lucy (Lynch) Troske. She grew up in Turton and attended the Dix Country School and graduated from Turton High School. She received a teaching certificate from Northern State University in Aberdeen and taught country school for several years. AnnaBelle married Eugene Vogel September 27, 1947 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. They farmed southwest of Turton before moving into Doland in 1985. Eugene died in 1992. AnnaBelle continued to live in Doland, staying active in church activities in Turton and Doland. She moved to the Good Samaritan Villagein Sioux Falls in 2004.

AnnaBelle was a charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America in Turton. She was also a member of Double V's Club and Happy-Go-Lucky Club.

AnnaBelle enjoyed painting pictures, plays and skits. She was always entertaining at social events with her humorous readings.

AnnaBelle is survived by her children: Terry (Valarie) Vogel of Turton; Scott (Susan) Vogel of Doland; Fr. Joe Vogel of Sioux Falls; Jill (Wayne) Geary of Fergus Falls, MN; Amy (John) Christenson of Watertown, SD; Audrey (Rod) Remily of Doland and Jennifer (Eric) Sammons of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren: Allan (Rebecca) Vogel, Thomas (Susan) Vogel, Jeffrey Vogel, Allison (Jeffery) Heitmann, Adam Vogel, Kara (Jeremy) Moes, Ryan Vogel, Derrek (Gina) Geary, Tara (Jason) Evavold, Kyle Geary, Dawn (Brad) Schreifels, Jason Christenson, Anthony Christenson, Michael Christenson, Casey Carlson, Bridget (Scott) Henrikson, Brad (Angela) Remily, Julie Remily, Mary Remily, Kelsey Sammons, Hannah Sammons, Rachel Sammons, Elliot Sammons and Andrew Sammons six great grandchildren: Dylan Vogel, Lincoln Vogel, Emma Vogel, Blaine Heitmann, Levi Evavold and Deegan Moes. She is also survived by six brothers: Robert Troske of Conde, SD; Irvin (Marjorie) Troske of Turton; LeRoy (Beverly) Troske of White Bear Lake, MN; Ronald (Patricia) Troske of Aberdeen, SD; Frank (Roberta) Troske of Bellevue, WA and Gary (Joanne) Troske of Kelso, WA and one sister Murle (Robert) Breen of Rapid City, SD.

She was preceded in death by her parents,Frank and Lucy Troske; her husband,Eugene, one daughter Mary Carlson, and two sisters: Eleanor Lien and Irene Zipf.
