Arnold Anderson was born February 22, 1931 in Revillo, SD to Fred and Margaret (Guerke) Anderson.  He was raised on a farm near Revillo, SD.

Arnold married Ethelmae Konshak on May 28, 1955.  Once married, they went to Anchorage, AK, where Arnold served in the United States Army.  After his honorable discharge, Arnold and Ethelmae returned to the Revillo area.

While he was working for the South Dakota Department of Legislative Audits for 12 years, they relocated to Redfield.  He also worked as a manager of the Heartland State Bank in Tulare, SD and later became the manager of Spink Electric Coop.

He was an active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.

Arnold's family was his greatest love.  Gathering together during holidays or at the lake cabin were always memorable.  He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing with his boys.

Though he resided in Redfield for 45 years, he remained a boy at heart in Revillo.

Grateful for having shared nearly 62 years together is his loving wife, Ethelmae of Redfield; his children:  Bob (Julie) Anderson of Bismarck, ND; Kathy (Brad) Sanderson of Lake Preston, SD; Larry (Vicky) Anderson of Ankeny, IA; and Kristin (Chris) Acker of Omaha, NE.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and his sister-in-law, Darlene Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers:  John and Hans.
