Arthur was born on July 13, 1924, in Zell to William and Emma (Henderson) Kolegraff, the youngest of seven children. He grew up on a farm near Zell and graduated from Redfield High School. After graduation, he worked on the farm and worked briefly in Huron, SD where he met his wife of 73 years, Marjorie Lau. They were married in October 1947. He then took over the family farm until his retirement. He was known to be very handy and could fix or make anything that was needed for the farm.
He and Marjorie enjoyed traveling and dancing. They continued to travel after his retirement and spent many winters in Texas. They also enjoyed line dancing, polka, and long walks (although he could never keep up with her!). They continued to live independently in Watertown until his death.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Emma Kolegraff, his siblings: Clement, Sylvester, Rosella, Mary, Mildred, and Aloysius, and his granddaughter Jennifer.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; children: Kenneth, Jane, and William; grandchildren: Dana, Lauren, Krislyn, Jarrett, Kenneth, Jennifer, Johnathon, Julianne, and Christopher; and great-grandchildren: Andrew, Alexander, Logan, Parker, Graysen, Eliza, and Margo.
