Arvilla Schultz, 92, formerly of Rockham, SD died Friday, May 11, 2007, at the Faulkton Healthcare Center, in Faulkton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Redfield. Pastor Stewart M. Lozensky will officiate.
Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery in Rockham. There will be a time for fellowship and lunch at the Rockham Community Hall after the burial.

Arvilla was born November 10, 1914 near Rockham to Arthur and Ella (Dukershein) Grabinski. She attended a rural elementary school near her home, three years at Rockham High School and graduated from Plainview Academy in Redfield in 1932. In 1933, Arvilla received a First Grade Teaching Certificate from Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen.
Arvilla married Clifford Schultz on December 30, 1936. She taught nine years in rural schools, four years in the primary grades at the Rockham School and one year worked with several elementary pupils at the Faulkton School.
She was a member of the Redfield Seventh-day Adventist Church. She served as Assistant Sabbath School Superintendent, Adult Sabbath School Teacher, Junior Sabbath School Teacher, Church Clerk and Communications Secretary.
She loved teaching school, chickens, birds, wild turkeys (Arvilla's Turkeys were tame, would land on her lap to be petted or go walking with her), geese, cats, horses and working in the fields.
Arvilla is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Robert) Madigan of Anchorage, AK; a grandson and three great-grandchildren, two nieces and six nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clifford, a sister Virginia Dials and her brother Francis Grabinski.
