Jesus Gerardo Puertos, was born on December 1, 2025, at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen, SD.  Though Jesus was with his mother Deyanira Puertos Dorantes, and his father, Javier Gerardo De La Trinidad both of Redfield, SD, for only a few hours, that's all the time Jesus needed to change the lives of those he touched. His family was not prepared to lose their precious baby so soon, but they are eternally grateful for the amount of time they were able to spend with Jesus.

No services will be held here in Redfield, and he will be taken back to his family in Mexico for burial.
