Brad was born on October 10, 1963, in Phoenix, AZ, to Terry and Mary Anne (Hawkins) Fischer. He grew up and spent most of his life in the same neighborhood in Phoenix. He attended Encanto and Clarendon for grade school, junior high in the Osborn School District, and later attended West High School.
As a child, Brad enjoyed playing Pop Warner football and baseball. He had a lifelong passion for working on vehicles and took on many restoration projects throughout the years, some of which remain unfinished. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, shooting, and hunting with family and friends. One of his favorite places was Encanto Park, where he could often be found fishing at all hours of the day and night. He also enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, embracing the freedom of the open road and the simple joy it brought him.
Throughout his adult life, Brad worked in various vocations, primarily as a carpet and floor layer, until an accident left him unable to continue working. He also developed a love for cooking and spent time in the kitchen, where he enjoyed preparing meals for those around him. He always made sure anyone who came through the door was fed.
Brad was known for his generosity and his open heart. He loved his children deeply and found joy in life's simple moments, whether it was teaching them how to fish, having dance parties in the living room, or sharing his love of music. He instilled in them a sense of appreciation for life, along with the importance of love, empathy, and compassion.
Brad is survived by his three children, Travis Fischer, Tiffany Fischer, and Remi Fischer, and their mother, Sheryl Sheets; his mother, Mary Anne Hawkins Fischer; and his two sisters, Tarralee Fischer (Lindsay Robeson) and Tami Fischer (Bradley Smith). He also leaves behind a large extended family who meant the world to him and whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Dayna (Hembree) Fischer; his father, Terry Fischer; his grandparents, Merle and Esther Fischer and Don and Ruby Hawkins; his uncles, Bernie Wanko and Jerry Zerbel; his aunt, Carol Hawkins; and his cousins, Todd Hawkins and Carmen Hawkins.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.
