Obituary

Brian L. Felchle, 45, of Redfield, SD, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at his home. His funeral will be Monday, November 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Redfield. Reverend Peter M. Utecht will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Redfield. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8:00 p.m. with the family present from 5-7:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield. www.thelenfuneralhome.com

Brian was born April 22, 1964 in Redfield to Al and Bernedene (Krenzel) Felchle. Brian attended Redfield Schools. He lived in Rapid City for a few years before returning to Redfield. He worked for Sut Frericks and at the Redfield City Dump before working at South Dakota Developmental Center-Redfield in the kitchen. Brian married Becky Doxsee June 24, 1994 in Redfield.

Brian was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tearing things apart.

Brian is survived by his wife Becky of Redfield, three step children: D.J. (Ericka) Doxsee of Aberdeen; Natasha Doxsee of Aberdeen; and Dylan Doxsee of Redfield, his father Al (Shirley) Felchle of Redfield; his mother Bernedene (Rick) Stiegelmeier of League City, TX, his brother Mark (Teri) Felchle of Harrold, SD, his two sisters: Marvalin Heilman of Aberdeen and Marilla Carlin of League City, TX. He is also survived by five step brothers: Ronald (Loretta) Nichols of East Grand Forks, MN; Douglas (Karen) Nichols of Denver, CO; Bill (Dorie) Nichols of Watertown; David (Shawn) Nichols of Redfield; and Mike (Amy) Nichols of Parker, SD; a sister-in-law Lisa (Dean) Weber of Andover, SD; a brother-in-law Rick (Cindy) Pigors of Andover and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
