Bryce Robert Kopplin, 27, of Redfield, SD, died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. His celebration of life service will be Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield. Bryce was born July 16, 1988 in Aberdeen, SD to Kerry Carr and Chad Kopplin. Bryce was born with a weak heart but had a big loving heart. He could light up a room with his witty smile. Even after death his big heart came through as he donated his eyes, bone and tissue. He attended Redfield High School and worked for Carr Concrete.

Bryce had a love for watching the Minnesota Vikings and Duke Blue Devils basketball team. He loved the outdoors and hiking and especially his dog.

Bryce is survived by his mother Kerry (Kevin Corkins) Carr; his father Chad (Dawn) Kopplin; his step father Lannie Arthurs; his daughter Savannah and his siblings: Landon Arthurs, Jorden (Crystal Gruenwald) Arthurs, Logen Arthurs, Kesha Arthurs, Ethan Kopplin and Emma Kopplin. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Frank and Sarah Carr; his paternal grandparents: Bruce and Anita Kopplin and his aunts and uncles: Danny (Norie) Carr, Anna Carr, Jeff (Stacey Wellnitz) Carr, Craig (Heather) Carr, Beth (Matt) James and Neil (Sarah) Kopplin and their families.
