Cheryl Lynn "George" Klebsch, 54, of Frankfort, SD, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield. Cheryl was cremated and her memorial service will be Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Redfield. Reverend Stephen Perry and Reverend Tim Fugman will officiate. Cremains burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Frankfort. There will be lunch and fellowship after the burial at the Frankfort Community Center. A prayer service will be Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield.

Cheryl was born July 4, 1957 in Highland Park, MI to William and Edna (Manning) Meisel. She grew up in Frankfort and graduated from Redfield High School in 1975. She worked at South Dakota Developmental Center-Redfield for several years before attending Northern State University. She graduated, in 1996, and started teaching junior high at Redfield Public School. She also taught at Turtle Creek Alternative School. George married Jeff Klebsch on May 18, 1984 in Redfield. George was an assistant volleyball coach for twelve years for the Redfield Girls High School Volleyball. She also coached Little League Baseball and Softball for many years.
George's pride and joy was her family and the many kids she taught and coached. She enjoyed playing cards and was an avid Tigger the tiger fan.
George is survived by her husband Jeff Klebsch of Frankfort; two sons: Mike (Courtney) Klebsch of Folsom, CA; and Dustin (Trista) Klebsch of Redfield and her grandson Xzavier. She is also survived by her mother Edna Meisel of Frankfort, her sisters: Barb (Claude) Abeln of Redfield and Linda "Spook" (Gary) Van Vleet of Redfield; her brother Ronnie Meisel of Rapid City, SD; a step brother Rod Meisel of Rapid City, SD and Jeff's family, Bill and Zelda Klebsch, Jim (Pam) Klebsch and Karen (Rob) Stephenson.
She was preceded in death by her father Bill.
