Christen "Skov" N. Lindskov, 39, of Doland, SD, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Avera St. Lukes Hospital in Aberdeen. His funeral will be Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Redfield. Reverend Kris Larson will officiate. Burial will be in the Doland Cemetery. Chris was born December 1, 1974 in Huron, SD to John and Gloria (Woodfork) Lindskov. He was baptized and confirmed in the United Methodist Church in Doland. From the age of 14, he worked at farm, construction and plumbing jobs in the area. He graduated from Doland High School in 1993 and attended SDSU and Lake Area Vo-Tech, graduating with a degree in welding. Chris worked for Cenex, Dakota Air, Wilber-Ellis and Full Circle Ag.

Chris tried to be tough; the "Big Teddy Bear" had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He was a friend to all.

On April 4, 2014, Chris married the love of his life, Jessica O'Daniel, and they moved to the family farm. He loved to hunt, fish and play with his kids.

Chris is survived by his wife Jessica of Doland; his children: Riley, Karlie and Kevin, his parents John and Gloria, his sister Melinda, Grandma Lil Woodfork, Grandma Ferne Lindskov and Jessica's parent's Kevin and Karla O'Daniel, and her brothers: Cole (Sami) and their daughter Peyton; Billy James and his son Eli James; and Lukas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Milford Woodfork, his Grandpa Noel Lindskov and his friend Jason Mendel.
