Clyde Willis Schone was born April 3, 1936 in Frankfort to Reinhart and Rose (Mattus) Schone. He graduated from Frankfort High School and served in the United States Army from 1958-1960.

Clyde and Mary Ann Brugger were married June 3, 1958 in Frankfort. After his discharge, Clyde worked for Tulare Grain before moving to Redfield in 1964. He worked as a milkman for eleven years before farming full time near Tulare. He farmed and raised cattle for most of his life. Raising cattle was his specialty and his love.

Clyde was a storyteller and enjoyed his breakfast buddies and was a true friend to everyone.

One of the joys of Clyde's life was watching his grandchildren participate in sports and other school activities.

Grateful for the gift of sharing his life are his wife Mary Ann Schone of Redfield; his son Brian (Tammi) Schone of Tulare and their children: Rustin Schone, Ashley Corkins, Tyler and Keilee Schone and his daughter Terri (Greg) Kjellsen of Groton, SD and their children: Jordan, Gabriel and Kalen. He is also survived by his brothers Melvin Schone of Bakersfield, CA; Richard Schone of Tucson, AZ; and his sister Wilma (Don) Pageler of Hitchcock, SD and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers: Leonard, Lester, Mayo and Lyle.
