David J. Krumm, 53, of Jeffersonville, IN, and formerly of Aberdeen, SD, passed away July 23, 2019, in Clarksville, IN.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Redfield, SD.  Reverend Tom Anderson will officiate.  Following a time for lunch and fellowship, inurnment with military honors will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Hyke Funeral Home of Redfield. (www.hykefuneralhome.com)

David J. Krumm was born November 21, 1965 in Bismarck, ND, to Frank and Phyllis (Kraft) Krumm.  He grew up in Aberdeen, SD and attended O.M. Tiffany Grade School, Holgate Junior High School and then graduated from Roncalli High School in 1984.

In 1984, David enlisted with the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1988.  After his discharge, he worked in the food service industry, managing several restaurants during his career.

He loved spending time with family and friends.

David is survived by his daughter Ashley Krumm of Church Point, LA; brothers: Mike (Neilia) Krumm of Bessemer, AL; and Frank Krumm of Redfield, SD; sisters: Connie (Jon) Sesar of Bellbrook, OH; Bernice Sturges of Lisbon, ND; and Sue (Gordon) Hansen of Aberdeen, SD; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and sister-in-law Susan (Williams) Krumm.
