Deanna Margaret (Johnson) Bindenagel, 75, of Frankfort, SD, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD, after a short battle with cancer that she fought with her family at her side. Deanna’s final act of kindness was the gift of sight through cornea donation.

Her services will be held on Friday, May 1, in Frankfort. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Frankfort United Methodist Church with Pastor Kim Hastings officiating. Her funeral service will start at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery after the service. Lunch and fellowship will follow the burial at the Frankfort Community Center.
