Delores A. Zens Felix, 93, of Redfield, SD, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the Eastern Star Home in Redfield.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Redfield. Father William Osborn will celebrate the mass.

Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Redfield.

Visitation will be Friday from 1-8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield.

Delores was born November 2, 1914 in Castlewood, SD to Aloysius and Mary (Leitner) Jankord. She grew up in the Orient/Rockham area and attended St. Mary's School in Zell. She worked for a few years in Pierre before she married Robert Zens on October 21, 1935 in Zell. They farmed north of Zell until 1968 when they retired and moved to Redfield. Robert died in 1977. Delores married Andy Felix in 1985. They lived in Redfield and spent many of their evenings playing bingo in Redfield and Aberdeen.

Delores enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards and playing bingo. She enjoyed all the times she spent with her grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and a fifty year member of the Catholic Daughters.

Delores is survived by her husband Andy Felix of Redfield; two daughters: Deon (Charles) Senn of Seneca, SD; Lucille (Jerome) Harvey of Deadwood, SD; two sons: Roger (Deann) Zens of Zell and James (Darlene) Zens of Redfield; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers: Al (Lucy) Jankord of Salina, KS; Lamont Jankord of Lauderdale Lakes, FL and Jack (Jean) Jankord of Redfield; two step children: Rita (Don) Marlette of Bismarck, ND and Roger (Nancy) Felix of Bismarck, ND and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Robert Zens, two daughters in infancy Mary Alice and Josephine Ann, her grandson Russell Keller, two sisters: Bernius Coughlin and Genevieve Fallon and three brothers: Emery, Laverne and Fr. Jerome Jankord.
