Doris Elaine Borchard, 77, of Paynesville, MN and formerly of Redfield, SD, died Monday, June 2, 2014 at Koronis Manor Nursing Home in Paynesville. Doris was cremated and will have a memorial inurnment at a later date in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery near Mansfield.

Doris was born in Aberdeen, SD on August 25, 1936 to Charles and Eva (Martilla) Borchard. She grew up in Redfield and graduated from Redfield High School in 1955. Because of her handicap she lived with her parents for many years. She entered Golden Living Center in Redfield in 2000 and transferred to Koronis Manor in 2008.

Doris is survived by her brother Dale (Evy) Borchard of Paynesville; one niece Connie (Paul) Osborne and two nephews: Gregory (Kathy) Borchard and David (Susan) Borchard.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
