Dustin Joe Christman, 23, of Ashton, SD, died Friday, May 27, 2011 in Ashton, SD.

His funeral will be Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield. Reverend Tim Fugman will officiate.

After the funeral service Dustin will be cremated and his ashes will be buried at a later date.

Dustin was born May 25, 1988 in Aberdeen, SD to Kerry Kyle and Joleen (Lehman) Christman. He grew up in Aberdeen and attended Aberdeen Central High School and Northwestern High School. He received his GED while in the Job Corp. He worked various construction jobs in Kansas and around Aberdeen.

He enjoyed fishing and camping.

Dustin is survived by his mother Joleen Christman of Aberdeen, his father Kerry Kyle Christman of Ashton, his brothers: Kris (Nancy Lopez) Lehman of Champlain, MN; Chip Christman of Aberdeen; and William Christman of Aberdeen. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother Ada Christman of Ashton and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.
