Earl Otto Siebrecht, 91, of Redfield died August 9, 2014, at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield.

His funeral will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Redfield. Reverend Marty Toepke-Floyd will officiate. Burial with Masonic Rites will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Earl was born April 22, 1923 to Otto and Agnes (Sandeen) Siebrecht in Clifton Township in Spink County. He grew up on his parent's farm near Ashton and graduated from Ashton High School in 1941. He married Berniece Clausen on September 25, 1945. They farmed near Ashton until 1987 and then moved to Redfield.

Earl was a member of the Masons and Redfield United Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, visiting with friends and playing cards.


Earl is survived by his son LeRoy Siebrecht of Rapid City, SD; his daughter and son-in-law Karen (Gale) Carpenter of Holly, MI; three grandchildren: Teresa Bailly of Hayti, SD, Jeanine (Philip) Yancy of Linden, MI and Jason Carpenter of Holly, MI; three great grandchildren: Jake Bailly, Brooke Bailly and Elisha Yancy.


He was preceded in death by his wife Berniece.
