Edward "Bud" Dean Muellenberg, 85, of Miller, SD, formerly of Redfield, SD, passed away June 21, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Center in Miller.  Per Bud's wishes, cremation is taking place, and funeral services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to and are pending with Hyke Funeral Home. He was born March 6, 1936, in Zell, SD to Edward and Laura (Gueke) Muellenberg when he joined five sisters.

In 1955, he married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Elaine Myrum.  They raised six children together.  Bud loved to hunt and fish, play cards, and wheel and deal.

Bud was preceded in death by his wife Joyce, their son Craig, his parents, and his sisters.  He is survived by his children Deb (Chuck) Decker, Sandi Lockwood, Tim (Barb) Muellenberg, Russ (Cindy) Muellenberg, and David (Jamie) Muellenberg; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
