Eunice Marie O'Connor, 85, of Aberdeen, SD, formerly of Redfield, SD, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at her home in Aberdeen. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Redfield. Father Christopher Hughes will celebrate the mass. Eunice was born September 7, 1927 in Dimock, SD to John and Bertha (Zens) Grohs. She graduated from Ashton High School in 1945. Eunice married Emmett "Ally" O'Connor on September 28, 1948 in Athol. Eunice and Ally moved to Redfield and Eunice worked at Norwest Bank for twenty-two years. They moved to Aberdeen in 2009 and Ally passed away in 2011.

Eunice enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Eunice is survived by her daughters: Susan Gerlach of Westport, SD; and Janet (Clarence) Parks of Roundup, MT; her son Pat (Mary) O'Connor of Monmouth, OR; and her daughter-in-law Kathy O'Connor of Belle Fourche, SD. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Alvin (Michelle) Gerlach, Amy (Troy) Engelhart, Sarah (Grant) Aase, Tim O'Connor, Jeremy O'Connor, Matthew (Erin) O'Connor, Todd Wagner, Cody Wagner and Sam (Heather) Wagner, two step granddaughters: Teri (Keith) Hice and Angie (Mike) Fawcett, eleven great grandchildren, five step great grandchildren and her two sisters: Joan Mueller of Redfield and Kathryn Dillon of Council Bluffs, NE: and her sisters-in-law Alicia Van Houten and Midge O'Connor both of Redfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ally on September 21, 2011, her son Mike, her three sisters: Ethyl, Beverly and Mary and two brothers: Roland and Donald and her son-in-law Larry Gerlach.
