Fern M. Willis, 91, of Redfield, SD, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield. Graveside services will be Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Redfield. Reverend Tim Fugman will officiate. There will be no visitation. www.thelenfuneralhome.com

Fern was born August 11, 1919 in Rockham, SD to C. A. and Maude (Benning) Corkins. She married Myron Geuke in 1938 and they lived in Redfield. Fern worked many jobs to support and raise her children. Fern's children always believed they were blessed to have Fern as their mother. She later married Dale "Whitey" Willis in 1958. They lived in Tulare and enjoyed fishing together. After Dale's death in 1982, Fern moved to Redfield.

Fern is survived by her children: Wayne Geuke of Guernsey, WY; Shirley Geuke of Milwaukee, WI; LaDell (Gail) Geuke of Redfield, SD and Gary Geuke of Deadwood, SD. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister Alice Hardie and three sisters-in-law Emmaline Corkins, Beverlee Corkins and Agnes Corkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
