Glen A. Carr, 66, of Redfield, SD, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield. Glen was cremated and his memorial graveside service will be Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Frankfort. Reverend Tim Fugman will officiate. www.thelenfuneralhome.com

Glen was born December 30, 1948. He grew up in and around Riverside California. He married Carol Dickhaut-Troutner in 1982 and they owned a tree service for many years. Glen enjoyed reading, airplanes and stock car racing. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching cartoons, playing video games, fixing machines and collecting smurfs. He was a Jack of all trades and a master of none.

He is survived by his daughters: Tammy Neuharth of IA; Coreen Wagner of ND; Cindy Shine and Kim Diesterhaft of Redfield; a friend that he considered the son he never had Willis Rothacker Jr. of Redfield. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and his sister Stella Carr of Huron, SD; along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Glen in death, is his parents Alvin and Margaret Carr; and the love of his life, his wife; Carol Carr, who died in 2011.
