Jewel Wheeler, 39, of Redfield, SD, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND, due to injuries from a car/snow plow accident on February 14, 2013. Jewel was cremated and her memorial service will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield. Jewel was born May 29, 1973 in Huntington Park, CA to Percy and Darlene (Moreno) Baldwin. She lived in California until 2006 when she moved to Faulkton, SD. She worked at South Dakota Developmental Center-Redfield and later moved to Redfield. Jewel married Jimmy Wheeler February 14, 2012 in Redfield. They moved to Arizona for a short time and then back to Redfield in September 2012. She worked at the Bread Box and Casey's.

She enjoyed antique jewelry and thrift stores. She was a hard worker and had a kind heart and enjoyed helping people.

Jewel is survived by her husband Jimmy Wheeler of Redfield; her children: Kevin Baldwin of Alabama; Gerald Sabin of Faulkton; Nathanial Sabin of Redfield; Dakota Sabin of Phelan, CA; Jewel Sabin, Susana Sabin and Mercades Sabin all of Dolan Springs, AZ. She is also survived by her mother Darlene (James) Sabin of Dolan Springs, AZ; her father Percy Baldwin of Alabama and her brother William Baldwin of Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her brother Earl.
