Joyce Elaine Muellenberg, 83, of Redfield, SD, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020, in Miller, SD. Although Parkinson's Disease stole her voice away, she's now singing with the angels.

Joyce Elaine Myrum was born October 24, 1936, to Oliver and Alta (Weiting) Myrum. She graduated from Redfield High School at the top of the Class of 1954, and married Edward "Bud" Muellenberg the next year.

Joyce was active in St. Bernard Catholic Church, leading the choir, teaching CCD, and Ladies Auxiliary. She worked closely with Fr. Fox and the Fatima Family Apostolate, organizing pilgrimages to Portugal. She also operated and computerized a religious book company.

Survivors include her husband Edward, Miller, SD; children: Deb (Chuck) Decker, Green Bay WI; Sandi Lockwood, Prescott AZ; Tim (Barb) Muellenberg of Fort Wayne IN; Russ (Cindy) Muellenberg, Flagstaff AZ; and Dave (Jamie) Muellenberg, Katy TX; 18 grandkids; many great-grandkids; and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, son Craig, and sisters- and brothers-in-law.
