Kathy R. Baseler, 45, of Doland, SD, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield, SD. Kathy was cremated and her memorial service will be Friday, March 20, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield. Reverend Grace Rhodes will officiate. Kathy was born March 27, 1963 in Huron, SD to Wayne and Maida (DeLee) Baseler. She graduated from Doland High School in 1981 and attended Huron College for three years. Kathy worked at The One Stop in Redfield for the past eleven years. She enjoyed crocheting, plastic canvas and listening to country music.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Rose Burgess of Mobridge and her son Randy Baseler of Aberdeen, her father Wayne Baseler of Doland and her two sisters: Wayna Domek of Watertown and LuAnne Baseler of Aberdeen and nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother Maida and her grandparents.
