Kolby Alan Komraus, four month old son of Keith and Nikki (Fast) Komraus of Rockham, SD, died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD, after becoming ill on December 31, 2007. His funeral will be Monday, January 7, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Redfield. Reverend Stephen Perry will officiate. Burial will be in the Rockham Cemetery. There will be a time for fellowship and lunch at the Rockham Community Hall after the burial. Kolby Alan Komraus was born August 31, 2007 in Aberdeen, SD to Keith and Nikki (Fast) Komraus. He came home with his parents to join his sisters; Hannah and Abbey and his brother Elliot. Hannah and Abbey were his little mother hens, always fussing over him and taking turns feeding him. Elliot was waiting for the day they could play tractors together. Kolby loved spending his days at Teddy Bear Daycare, where he was part of the daycare extended family.

Kolby is survived by his parents Keith and Nikki, his sisters: Hannah and Abbey and his brother Elliott. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Peggy Fast of Redfield; paternal grandparents John and Eleanor Komraus of Rockham; and his aunts and uncle: Val (Bryon) Eaton of Brookings, SD; Alonna (Al) Nordbye of Brookings, SD; and Travis (Kalena) Fast of Redfield.

Kolby was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa Roger Fast.
