Leora "Lee" K. Williams, 69, of Sioux Falls, SD died Tuesday, May 05, 2009 at Sanford Centennial Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls. Her funeral will be Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield, SD. Fr. William Osborn will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Bernard's Cemetery in Redfield, SD.
Visitation will be Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral, at Thelen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.

Leora was born July 8, 1939, in Tracy, MN to Dr. Leon and Clara (Karbo) Noy. She spent her early years in Tracy and Lake Andes, SD before moving with her family to Redfield, where her father was a dentist for many years. Leora graduated from Redfield High School in 1957. She was active in school activities and was the homecoming queen. After graduation, she moved to Sioux Falls and worked as a secretary/accounting clerk. She had been employed by Risk Administration Services "RAS" before her retirement. Leora married Lawrence Dries in Sioux Falls and they had one son Scott.
Leora enjoyed genealogy, gardening and hockey. In April, 2009 she was awarded the Sioux Falls Stampede "Fan of Fame Award". Leora was an avid fan of softball and never missed one of Scott's games.
Leora is survived by her son Scott Dries of Sioux Falls, SD, her brother Leon (Karen) Noy of Torrance, CA; her sister Lois (Delbert) Weiss of Random Lake, WI and many nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
