Linda Carol Stephens, 66, of Redfield, SD, died Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield. Her funeral will be Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Redfield. Reverend Stephen Perry will officiate. After the services Linda will be cremated and her ashes will be buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Linda was born December 9, 1944 in Redfield to Ben and Dorothy (Simons) Radcliffe. She attended Tulare school and graduated from Huron High School. She attended Dakota Wesleyan College before she married Floyd "Ole" Stephens in Pipestone, MN. They lived in Hitchcock for a short time before moving to Redfield. Linda worked at South Dakota Developmental Center-Redfield for thirty-four years before retiring.

She enjoyed reading, sewing and knitting and especially spending time with her grandchildren, her sisters and of course her cat "Sparkles".

Linda is survived by her husband Floyd of Redfield; her son Mark (Tracy) Stephens of Brandon, SD and their daughters Malle and Kylie; her daughter Kari Peterman of Frankfort, SD and her children: Amber (Josh Root) and their daughter Kinley, Ryan and Lane Peterman. She is also survived by her father Ben (Del) Radcliffe of Huron, SD; her sisters: Dona (Wayne) Hansen of Mt. Vernon, SD; and Barb (Roy Carlson) Blaedorn of Huron.

She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy.
