Lois M. Blair, 93, of Ree Heights, SD, died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Avera St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre, SD. Her funeral will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ree Heights Auditorium. Pastor Sheena Thomson will officiate. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery near Ree Heights. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Auditorium. Lois Marie was born September 22, 1921 in Lincoln, NE to John and Eva Mae (Gilmore) Perdew. She attended school in Lincoln and Neligh, NE. Lois married Jim Blair January 18, 1948 in Neligh. They worked on ranches in Nebraska before moving to Ree Heights in 1951. They worked on the Jennings Brother's Ranch for 35 years.

Lois enjoyed square dancing, collecting dolls and making doll clothes.

Lois is survived by her husband Jim of Ree Heights, five children: Jeanne Deuter of Ree Heights; John "Babby" Blair of Highmore, SD; Verna (Tim) McMahon of Miller; Frank Blair of Miller; and Loyce Blair of Deadwood, SD; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She is also survived by two sisters: Phyllis Perdew of Neligh and Rhea June Carstensen of Tilden, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter Heidi Blair, her brother John, an infant brother and her sister Dorothy.
