Marcia was born to Joseph and Dorothy (Wehe) Mallory in Hutchinson, KS on July 3, 1947. Her siblings included Karen, Wendy, and Joseph "Ben". She received her bachelor's degree in teaching at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Champaign, IL. Marcia grew up to become a teacher, specializing in behavior disorders, then, explored other job fields, such as house painting, nursing facility CNA, and laundry at nursing facilities and hospitals, including James Valley and Community Memorial Hospital, both in Redfield. She loved to meet people and make friends everywhere she went and would go above and beyond to help anyone in need. She was fascinated by the history of the old west and Native American culture.
One of her favorite things to do was to purchase items and restore or repurpose them and had a way of making them her own style. Over the years, she spent many hours researching her family tree and has passed that onto her children. Marcia loved music. Her favorite singers were Ronnie Milsap and Barbra Streisand and she loved musicals, especially "Les Misérables" and "The Phantom of the Opera."
Marcia was preceded in death by her loving husband James Coleman and her daughter Rebecca (Rasch) Timmons.
She leaves behind her son Benjamin Rasch, his wife Tracie and their children Elizabeth and James; daughter Heather (Murphy) Galloway, her husband Barry and their children Chloe and Lillian; daughter Michelle Monroe; and grandchildren: Ryan Rasch and Caleigh Timmons.
