Mark Holm, 53, of Redfield, SD, died Friday, October 12, 2007 at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen, SD. His funeral will be Monday, October 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield. Reverend Stephen Perry will officiate. After the funeral service Mark will be cremated and his ashes buried at a later date. Mark was born December 30, 1953 in Ipswich, SD to Melvin and Gertrude (Kono) Holm. He grew up in Redfield helping his family at Holm Drug Store. He attended Redfield Schools and married Barb Avery in 1974. Mark worked for Kenny's Auto and Glass repairing windows, upholstering and selling cars for thirty years. He later worked for SDDC-Redfield.

Mark enjoyed music, going for drives, spending time at the lake. He enjoyed his time alone.

Mark is survived by his daughter Amber (Charles) Groft and their daughter Mackenzie of Redfield, SD; and his son Travis (Teresa) Holm of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by two sisters: Shari (Harold) Campbell of McIntosh, SD; and Trudy (Jim) Vickerman of Tuscon, AZ and many nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Steven and Matt.
