Marlene D. Pfister, 76, of Redfield, SD died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at her home in Redfield. Her funeral will be Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at First Congregational UCC Church in Redfield. Reverend Tim Fugman will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Marlene was born August 28, 1934 in Redfield to Urban and Georgia (Corkins) Pfister. She lived most of her life in Redfield. She was a member of the First Congregational UCC Church, worked at JC Penney, Anthony's, Coleman Furniture and Funeral Home, Gallagher and Battey Attorneys at Law for one tax season and Spink County Auditor's office.

She retired in 1995 and enjoyed fishing, reading, crafts, and keeping up her home.

Survivors include, one sister, Hilda King, nieces and nephews, David (Diana) Pfister, Dorie Leidholm, Gina (Rick) Jahn and Dan (Dena) Pfister.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Merton Pfister and Richard Pfister.
