Mildred A. Dutt, 84, of Redfield, SD, died Tuesday, November 03, 2009 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield. Her funeral will be Friday, November 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield. Reverend Peter M. Utecht will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mildred was born February 1, 1925 in Roscoe, SD to Jacob and Hilda (Clark) Hettich. She attended country school and married Reinhold Dutt June 18, 1944 in Tolstoy. They farmed in the Tolstoy area for several years before moving to Montana. In 1962, they moved to Redfield. Mildred babysat for many area families for over twenty years.

She enjoyed canvas crafting, crocheting and quilting.

Mildred is survived by her husband Reinhold of Redfield; her daughter Barb Lenling of Redfield, her son Jake (Sheila) Dutt of Aberdeen, SD; her granddaughter Sherri (Ken) Stahl of Aberdeen, SD and their daughters: Tania and Kami. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law: Martha Lassle of Bowdle, SD; Velma Hettich of Aberdeen and Lee Hettich of Waynesville, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son-in-law Larry Lenling and her thirteen brothers and sisters.
