Obituary

Myrna A. French, 73, of Redfield, SD, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at her home in Redfield. Myrna was cremated and her memorial service will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Redfield. Reverend Marty Toepke-Floyd will officiate. Burial of Myrna's ashes will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Redfield. www.thelenfuneralhome.com

Myrna was born January 1, 1942 in Wessington, SD to Lewis and Katherine (Hegge) Paulsen. She grew up in the Bonilla/Wessington area and graduated from Redfield High School in 1960. Myrna married Harlan Siebrecht and they lived in Redfield. She worked at South Dakota Developmental Center and owned Myrna's Hobbies. On June 9, 1984 Myrna married Norman French. Myrna was a Foster Grandparent for many years.

Myrna enjoyed crafts, sewing, baking cakes for all occasions, making flower arrangements and ceramics. Her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

Myrna is survived by one son Norman (Jody) Siebrecht of Redfield and their children: Trevor, Seth and Jensyn; three daughters: Diane (Rick Breitag) French of Redfield and her children: Shane and Autumn; Denise (David) Hofeman of Redfield and their children: Jade, Kaden, Jaci and Emeri; Brenda (Jason) Hammrich of Aberdeen and their children: Cameron, Courtney, Skylar and Madyson; her daughter-in-law Noreen French of Bonilla and her children: Bryce (Desi) French, Chad (Shayla) French and Darin (Kim) French. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and her brother Don (Shirley) Paulsen of Redfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norman, in 2010, two sons: Alan and Doug, her brother Bobby and a great grandson.
