Nadine Zarneke, 92, of Redfield, SD, died Monday, November 12, 2012 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield. Nadine was cremated and her memorial mass will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 10:30a.m. St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Redfield. Father Christopher Hughes will celebrate the mass. Nadine was born January 14, 1920 in Redfield to James and Leilia (Justice) Finnerty. She grew up in Redfield and graduated from Redfield High School. Nadine married Ralph Zarneke on January 13, 1939 in Miller. Nadine worked for Northwestern Public Service and South Dakota Developmental Center-Redfield. Nadine and Ralph enjoyed traveling to California several times to visit their sons and their families.

She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and enjoyed playing bridge and golfing.

Nadine is survived by her three sons: Terry of Placerville, CA; Dick of Mounds View, MN; and Tom of Rescue, CA; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph in 1997, her sisters: Gladys Robbins, Sarah Noonan and Lucile Gilmartin and her brother Lawrence Finnerty.
