Nicole "Nikki" Lynn Bublitz, 44, of Redfield, SD, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 11, 2017.  Nicole has been cremated and her memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield.  Reverend Marty Toepke-Floyd will officiate.  (www.thelen-hykefuneralhome.com)

Nicole "Nikki" Lynn Bublitz was born on January 17, 1973 to Stephanie (Ball) Asmussen and David Asmussen at the Clear Lake Hospital.  She grew up in Goodwin, SD as an only child.

Nikki enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and animals.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her boxer, Hooch, whom she loved dearly.  She loved being outside during the summer months and inside decorating during the cold holiday months.  She also loved watching lifetime movies and doing puzzles during the winter.  She enjoyed driving down country roads in her Chevy Silverado.

Nikki will be greatly missed by her mother, Stephanie Asmussen of Redfield; her daughter, Brittany Bublitz of Redfield; her son, Austin Shepherd of Doland, SD; her grandson, Ashton Bublitz of Redfield; her grandma, Marilyn Ball of Redfield; her boyfriend, Brad Becker of Redfield; and her special friends, Nikkie Gallop of Wisconsin and Marie Phillips of Rapid City, SD.

Nikki is preceded in death by her dear friend, Don Doxsee; and her two boxers who she loved with all her heart, Tyson and Trixie.
