Patrick F. Hamilton, 61, of Redfield, SD, died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Redfield. His funeral will be Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Redfield. Reverend Brian Wasmoen will officiate. After the service, Pat will be cremated and his ashes buried in Greenlawn Cemetery. Patrick was born April 13, 1950 in Redfield to Claude and Delores (Klapperich) Hamilton. He graduated from Redfield High School in 1968. Pat worked for Caryl Larsen Well Drilling, Cenex, Butch's Service and Redfield Street Department. He has been at Golden living Center since 2009.

Pat enjoyed NASCAR and dirt track racing, bowling and playing cards.

Pat is survived by his mother Delores Hamilton of Redfield; his brothers: Doug (Wanda) Hamilton of Groton, SD and Roger (Pam) Hamilton of Yankton, SD and his nieces and nephews: Dulcy (Larry) Wipf and their sons Alex and Preston; Stephanie (Ben) Holmstrom, Brad (April) Hamilton, Rory (Tasha) Hamilton, Sarah (Tyler) Hoxeng and their daughter Taylor; and Shane (Kate) Hamilton and their son Grant.

He was preceded in death by his father Claude.
