Pauline Schoniger, 77, of Redfield, SD, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield. Pauline was cremated and her memorial service will be Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield. Reverend Tim Fugman will officiate. Pauline was born September 3, 1935 in Mellette, SD, where she grew up and attended school. She married Wayne Schoniger on August 21, 1953 in the Mellette Methodist Church. They resided in Redfield and Huron for a few years before moving to Phoenix where she resided until 2001 before returning to Redfield.

Pauline and Wayne enjoyed fishing and camping at different parks in Arizona. After returning to Redfield, Pauline was active in the Foster Grandparents Program.

Pauline is survived by her children: David (Wendy) Schoniger, Deb Buck and Dan Schoniger all of Arizona, her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Villa (Allen) Moeller of Redfield; Dorothy (David) Hahn of LaMirada, CA; Linda (Gary) Brunn and Donna Palmer both of Redfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Wayne.
