Phyllis Jean Larsen, 89, of Redfield, SD, died Friday, September 4, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Redfield. Her funeral will be Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Redfield. Reverend Brian Wasmoen will officiate. Burial will be Greenlawn Cemetery in Redfield. Phyllis was born May 25, 1926 in Waubay, SD to Louis and Nina (Dahl) Wolkenhauer. She graduated from DeSmet High School in 1944 and married Arthur Larsen on January 21, 1945 in San Louis Obispo, CA.

Phyllis was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Arthur of Redfield; her son Jerry Larsen of Tea, SD; her daughters: Laurie (Mark) Bonfiglio of Nolanville, TX and Susan (Chris) Landis of Killeen, TX.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Linda and her brother Dennie Wolkenhauer.
