Reita Larae Dobson, 76, of Redfield, SD died Friday, June 26, 2015 at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield. Her funeral will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Redfield. Reverend Marty Toepke-Floyd will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Reita was born June 8, 1939 in Redfield to Elijah and Gladys (Reynolds) Crump. She attended country schools and married Elmer Dobson on August 28, 1965 in Miller, SD. They farmed southwest of Redfield all their married life.

Reita enjoyed raising her family, gardening and growing flowers. Her biggest joy was her grandchildren. She enjoyed being grandma to her three grandchildren and always had a smile on her face and was quick with a laugh.

Reita is survived by her daughter Renea (Robyn) Van Bockel of Redfield and their children: Randy, Rebecca and Ryan. She is also survived by her two brothers: Thomas Crump of Huron, SD and Dale (Kim) Crump of Rapid City, SD.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer in 2008 and her son Randy.
