Rosanne "Rose" Margaret (Bourassa) Harms, age 84, of Redfield, SD, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Sanford Hospice Foundation Cottage, in Sioux Falls, SD, on October 7, 2025.
Her visitation, with family present, will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. A scriptural prayer service and rosary will start at 5:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 20, 2025, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Redfield. Reverend John Short will officiate. Inurnment will follow at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in Redfield. Lunch and fellowship will follow in the church hall.

Rosanne was born on March 10, 1941, in Redfield, to Vital and Mildred "Millie" (Koenig) Bourassa. She attended school in Bristol, SD, until she was needed at home to help care for her five younger siblings.
On January 17, 1961, she married Donald Harms, in Redfield. Together they built a beautiful life and shared 64 years of marriage.
They welcomed their first son, Joseph Harms, on July 30, 1962; their second son, Kenneth Harms, on September 22, 1963; their daughter, Victoria Harms, on August 19, 1966; and their youngest son, Randy Harms, on April 8, 1970.
Rosanne held various jobs over the course of her life, but the one she cherished most was raising her children and babysitting. She was an extraordinary cook who was best known for her delicious caramel rolls, a Sunday favorite among family and friends. Rosanne had many hobbies, including crocheting, crafting, and sewing her own clothes.
Rosanne is survived by her husband, Donald Harms of Sioux Falls; sons Joseph Harms of Huron, Kenneth (Jodi) Harms of Brookings, and Randy (Heather) Harms of Sioux Falls; daughter Victoria Larson of Milbank; grandchildren Philip Harms, David Potts, Kayla Nosel, Micheal Hampton, Kortney Bangs, Krissa Bangs, Katelynn Hampton, Zachary Hampton, and Seth Hopper; her sisters Coralee Shupe, Gloria Pharis, Marva Rausenburger, Doreen Bonin, and Christine Fliehe; and her brothers David Bourassa and Nick Bourassa.
She is reunited in heaven with her parents; a grandson, Sage Hopper; a granddaughter, Christina Harms; and a brother, Ronnie Bourassa.
