Ruth Jones, 91 of Eagan, MN formerly of Frankfort, died November 5, 2011, at the United Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Ruth was cremated and a graveside ceremony is tentatively planned for July 14, 2012 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Frankfort, SD. (www.thelenfuneralhome.com)

Ruth DeLena Schlotter was born on July 14, 1920, in Frankfort, SD to William and Alieda (DeHaan) Schlotter. She attended country grade schools and graduated from Redfield High School in 1938. Ruth married Horace C. Jones of St. Lawrence, SD on November 30, 1948, and had three sons: David, Terry and Kenneth. Ruth worked eleven years at the Developmental Center in Redfield and retired in 1981. She married Willard Ball in 1983.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Horace; her brothers Robert, John, Donald and his twin sister Dorothy, Charles, Virgil and William Jr.
Ruth is survived by her 3 sons David (Gloria) of Lennox, SD, Terry (Julia) of Tea, SD and Kenneth of Eagan, MN, her sisters-in-law Gleva Schlotter of Redfield and Anna "Bunny" Schlotter of Hudson, WY, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
