Sarah Kleinsasser, 63, of Glendale Colony near Frankfort, SD, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. with family by her side.

Her funeral will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Glendale Colony. Burial will be in the Glendale Colony Cemetery.

She was born on December 17, 1948 to Paul and Susanne (Hofer) Glanzer at Utica, SD. In 1955 she moved to Clark Colony. Sarah was united in marriage to Jerry Kleinsasser on June 22, 1969. They were blessed with 42 years together. For many years Sarah patiently worked at her husband's side to help him serve the colony. She worked as a Kleine Schul ankila for a few years and helped out as head cook. She always tried to do her best to please everybody.

Left to mourn is her loving husband: Jerry, children: Jane (Oscar) Wipf of Lakeview Colony and their children Janay, Jadrian, Rachelle, Joni, Jerica, Mariah and Kaylia; Jerry (Rosa) Kleinsasser of Glendale Colony and their children Jerissa, Junia, Jeremy and Landon; Marlene (Herb) Waldner of Elmendorf and their children Sarah, Rachel, Daniel, David, Jemimah, Jelena and Samuel; her brothers: Paul (Judy) of Mayfield Colony, Sam (Geneva) of Cowiche, Washington, Joe (Kathryn) of Clark Colony and John (Linda) of Clark Colony; sisters: Dora (Andy) of Springfield, Manitoba, Katie (Fred) Waldner of Clark Colony, Marian (Tim) Wipf of Spring Creek Colony and Rachel Glanzer of Clark Colony.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one sister Mary and her parents-in-law.
