Susan Marie Krumm was born March 22, 1967, to Frank and Phyllis (Kraft) Krumm in Aberdeen where she grew up. As a young child, she attended O.M. Tiffany Elementary School and graduated from Roncalli High School with the Class of 1985.
On May 5, 1990, Susan married N. Gordon Hansen in Aberdeen.
She started working as a waitress at a variety of places until ill health forced early retirement. But she was a fighter and returned to work 14 years later at Avera St. Luke's Hospital and Bethesda Nursing Home in Aberdeen until March of 2020 when cancer took over and she could no longer work.
Susan was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was both baptized and confirmed. She was a Girl Scout leader and CCD teacher. Susan enjoyed collecting angels, visiting with friends, and going for drives to look for deer.
Grateful for sharing her life are her husband N. Gordon Hansen of Aberdeen; and two daughters: Brianna (Colton) Kiefer of Aberdeen and Brandi (Treva Brewer) Hansen of Aberdeen. She is also survived by her siblings: Mike (Neila) Krumm of Bessemer, AL; Connie (Jon) Sesar of Bellbrook, OH; Frank Krumm of Redfield, SD; and Bernice Sturges of Lisbon, ND; as well as her aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
