Tina Louise (Nielsen) Higer, 46, of Redfield, SD, passed away at home on Friday, December 31, 2021.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney, NE.

She was a loving daughter, mother, wife, sister and grandmother. A graduate of Kearney High School in the class of 94', Tina worked as a pharmacy tech at Walgreens for over 12 years. In her free time she enjoyed riding ATV's, camping, fishing, swimming and spending time with her family. Everyone that met her enjoyed her company, her quick wit and loving embrace. She married Todd Higer June 6, 2016.

She is survived by her husband Todd Higer, her children: Kenny (wife Hailey), Keegan, and Trinity Higer, Parents: Randy Nielsen and Marlene Avery- Kuypers, Step mother: Betty Nielsen, Siblings: Matthew (wife Rachel) Nielsen, Avery Kuypers, Jessie (husband Brent), Kyle (wife Natalie) Kuypers, Megan Kuypers, Grandchildren: Sylvia, Orion and Dorian Higer; She is also survived by her father and mother in-law Gerald and Darlem Higer and  Travis Higer (former spouse) and many extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Marvin and Alma Avery, Delbert and Mary Nielsen.
