Zack Waldner, of Frankfort, SD, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2007, after suffering from a massive stroke, at his home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Glendale Colony south of Frankfort, SD. Burial will follow in the Glendale Colony Cemetery.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He was born July 21, 1932 to Zack and Katie Waldner, in Manitoba, Canada. He moved to Glendale Colony, Frankfort, SD in 1949. On June 22, 1952 he married Justina Hofer, form Rockport CO. Justina Passed away on January 26, 1995. On October 20, 1996, he married Katie Waldner.

He was a chicken and turkey manager for many years. His son managed the turkeys when he became older, but he still helped out. He enjoyed working with the turkeys until he became sick. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Zack is survived by his wife Katie Waldner; five daughters: Justina (Rev. Johnny) of Glendale, Malena (Jackie) of Sundale, Susanna (Ben) of Clark, Kathleen (Arnie) of Pembrook, Edna of Glendale; four sons: Clarence (Susan), Joseph (Kathleen), Zacky (Matilda) and Mark (Debra) all of Glendale. He was blessed with forty-eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his seven sisters, Elizabeth Waldner, Anna (Dave)Wipf, Susie (Elias) Hofer, Sarah (Paul) Waldner, Maria (John) Wollman, Rebecca (Jake) Wollman and Dorothy (Sam) Wurtz; two brothers: John (Clara) Waldner and Mike (Susie) Waldner and sisters-in-law, Sara and Darlene Waldner.

He was preceded by his first wife, his parents, an infant son, two sisters, two brothers and an infant great-grandchild.
