Douglas Allen Stickler, 74, of Doland, SD, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Avera @ Home Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.
Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield, SD. The family will be present during this time to accept condolences.
Following the visitation, a graveside committal service will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Doland City Cemetery in Doland, with Pastor Kody Bullock officiating.

Douglas Allen Stickler was born December 7, 1946, in Redfield, SD, to Robert and Mae (Lewis) Stickler. He graduated from Doland High School, followed by Lake Area Technical Institute with a degree in business machine repair.
Doug married Donna (Dunham) Scott on January 17, 1969, in West Frankfort, IL, and they had two children. He married Sylvia (Bebo) Mitchell on September 30, 1985, in Doland and added three stepchildren to his family. He worked the majority of his career for the Cenex in Doland and later for the City of Doland.
Doug enjoyed playing cards, fishing with his family, metal detecting, and collecting guns and coins.
Doug is survived by his son Dan Stickler of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren: Jacob Stickler, Zachary Stickler, Sam Mitchell, Matthew Fortin, Karrie (Matthew) Woodring, Kandace (Austin) Reis; five great-grandchildren; his stepchildren: Marvin Mitchell of Redfield, SD, Marnie Mitchell and Roberta Hindberg of Sioux Falls, SD; his daughter in law Traci Stickler of Doland, SD; his sister Bobbi Armstrong of Waubay, SD; four nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Doug W. Stickler.
