Kenny farmed until 1947 and then delivered fuel oil to many country homes for Stanton Rabuck, a Mobile Oil company, for 15 years. Kenny also sold cars for the local Dodge dealer for several years. In 1969, Kenny started working for the City of Redfield as a City Policeman and then as the Assistant Chief, retiring in 1986. His family will remember Kenny as a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, and hard worker.
He enjoyed playing baseball, hunting, and fishing but especially playing golf. He was instrumental in helping build the grass greens at Fisher’s Grove County Club Golf Course. Kenny bought and sold golf clubs and was good at golf; he brought home many golf trophies from the tournaments he played. Kenny continued to golf up until age 90.
